If you’re looking for real-deal Latino flavor, Tacos Los Cholos in Fullerton is different. This isn’t just taco spot hype — this is flavor that hits. First off, the surf and turf is CRAZY good. The steak is seasoned and grilled perfectly, the shrimp is cooked right (not rubbery), and together it’s that perfect mix of smoky, juicy, and fresh. Every bite tastes like it was made with intention. Now let’s talk about the salsa — the salsa is FIRE. Bold, spicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don’t water it down for anybody. It actually enhances the meat instead of covering it up. That’s how you know it’s authentic. The smoked Papa Loka? Probably the best. The smokiness takes it to another level. Loaded, flavorful, and not dry at all. It’s one of those items you order “just to try” and then end up thinking about later. And the drinks don’t miss either. Refreshing, well-balanced, and they pair perfectly with the spice and smoke from the food. Overall, this is hands down one of the best Latino food spots around. Real flavor. Real seasoning. Real quality. If you know good tacos, you’ll respect this place.

Hmmmmmm. I wanted this to be 5 stars man. I really did. The hype about this place definitely did it's job. I rarely get excited about trying food due to the hypebeasts of social media. This place was good in my opinion, I will definitely return one day in the future, but it wasn't great. I got the Pork Belly Quesadilla and a few tacos, and the churro cheese cake. This is just the opinion of one man however. Definitely, get some condiments to put on your meal, but even with that, it wasn't 5 stars. The service was great and the pricing was reasonable. The pork belly quesadilla was standard tasting and the tacos was ok. The churro cheese cake was nasty and dry. Also, this location doesn't serve alcohol yet. I know right? I am not a drinker, but my friends in my party was definitely disappointed at that. But anyways, I'll give it another try next time im in socal and I will get something else.

Delicious food accompanied by a variety of fresh condiments, definitely worth trying. I highly recommend Papa Loka. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and helpful in explaining each menu item. Be aware that paying cash is cheaper than using a credit card. Also, discounts for police and firemen may apply, but not for medical professionals. I will definitely return!

After going to their sister site in Anaheim numerous times, and having to contend with their popularity, it was wonderful being able to sit inside and not have to fight the crowds. The Cholos pizza was amazing and the servers were friendly and attentive. The salsa bar and agua fresca were superb too the portions so large we brought quite a bit home. Definitely recommend trying this location over the Anaheim one!

A Mexican restaurant’s transformation— Introducing bold new creations with keto tacos and pizza tacos. Unafraid of change, the restaurant continues to grow, bringing joy through innovative menu items. In response to the rising keto diet trend, I had the chance to try their light and delicious keto tacos myself.
