My wife and I recently visited California. We decided a few days before heading west to visit Grinderz for their Pigsty Fries and Birds nest cheeseburger combo. My wife and I enjoyed the Pigsty Fries and our friend, whom we came to visit enjoyed the Birds Nest Burger. We discovered that Grinderz is located in an older German themed area within Huntington Beach, California called Old World. We enjoyed a Volkswagen show and some shopping while there. Tony, the Manager was very accommodating to tourists and locals. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. Memo, the Cook did a fantastic job with the food and both individuals created an overall atmosphere in which we will definitely return the next time we visit California. My friend, who lives in California, has visited Old World several times for car shows, mentioned that he had no clue that Grinderz was even there, and certainly didn't know how delicious their food is. He mentioned that the next time that he visits Old World, he knows exactly where he's going to eat. He was absolutely blown away by the size and quality of his cheeseburger combo, while my wife and I throughly enjoyed the Pigsty Fries! If you are visiting Huntington Beach, California or more specifically Old World, we highly recommend this fantastic family friendly restaurant.
